Job Description:

We are looking for talented PHP Developers to join our team. Your primary focus will be to implement complete user experiences to server side functionality, depending on your skills and interests. Your main duties will include creating modules and components and coupling them together into a functional application. The artistic design will be delivered to you, together with a few HTML templates, but we will ask for your help in regard to animations, CSS, and final HTML output. You will work in a team with back-end developers, and communicate with the API using standard methods. Training programs are available and salary is commensurate with experience. We have roles for recent graduates up to intermediate and senior developers.

Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions in a team environment • Build new features, trouble shoot software issues and implement bug fixes in PHP and commonly used packages • Delivering a complete front end application • Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Java, HTML and CSS

Skills and Qualifications • Proficiency with PHP, Java, jQuery, MySQL, JavaScript and HTML5 • Quickbooks API experience highly desirable • Exemplary communication skills • Team player • Experience working in an Agile team is desirable • Knowledge of AngularJS practices and commonly used modules and tools that compose the ecosystem • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components • Ability to provide SEO solutions for single page apps is a plus • Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback • Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed • Experience with all levels of operation available to the front-end, such as from creating XHRs in vanilla JS to using a custom wrapper around $resource • Experience with building the infrastructure for serving the front-end app and assets • Architecting and automating the build process for production, using task runners or scripts • Documenting the code inline using JSDoc or other conventions • Writing extensive automated Business Driven Development tests based on user stories and Gherkins and running them with testing tools such as jBehave, Cucumber or Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative) • Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments • A university degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent
