Job Description:

Cardinal Health Canada is urgently seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Gananoque on a full-time, 6 months contract to start as soon as possible. 

This position participates in the quality engineering functions within the manufacturing facility by assisting in developing, implementing and administering quality specifications, test methodologies, and sampling plans for product and process. The selected candidate will work directly with Manufacturing, R&D and Engineering to assure quality considerations are adequately covered in the design, testing, and release of materials, components and completed products. This position is expected to provide quality-engineering expertise for the continuous improvement of product and process and provide engineering input for corrective and preventative action for in-house and customer reported problems. In this role the Quality Assurance Engineer is to function as a problem solver and capable of analyzing challenging situations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent experience. 
1-3 years in engineering or QA preferred. MDD and CMDR experience preferred. 
FDA Regulated Industry experience as well as applicable Quality System Standards and Regulations experience... 
Project Management, SPC, DOE, FMEA, sampling plans, statistics 
Superior leadership, facilitation, and communication skills. 
Six Sigma Training/Lean Manufacturing Training 
Good working knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and equipment 
Basic SPC skills and statistical sampling methods 
Strong computer Skills; email, word, excel, power-point, minitab 
Good working knowledge of all Gananoque manufactured products including product development, complaint processing, raw materials verifications, sterile products procedures 
Certified Internal Auditor 
Strong communication skills 
Experience in training, Train the trainer certification
