Job Description:

Grenadier Island Country Club is seeking 2 fulltime seasonal Coordinators. The season will run from late May until Labour Day in September with the possibility of one position continuing on to early October.

The Coordinators will report to the Coordinator Supervisor and assist in the day to day operations of the clubhouse, kitchen and bar.

Candidates must be conscientious, outgoing and congenial. General duties include light computer work, hygienic food preparation and service in the Club’s commercial kitchen, serve and monitor inventory in the club’s licensed bar area as well as performing custodial duties as required. This will be completed while assisting club members and their guests enjoy all that GICC has to offer. Candidates must enjoy interacting with the club members, have the ability to multi-task, and always maintain a positive and energetic demeanor.

Grenadier is an island and, as such, only accessible by water. The candidate will have the ability to operate a club-owned boat, or the ability to learn to safely operate it. They will also be required to possess or acquire a “pleasure craft operator’s card”. GICC is a licensed establishment, and as such the candidate will be at minimum 18 years of age and be Smart Serve Certified or have the ability to become Smart Serve Certified before the start date.

Hours of Work: Daily from Monday to Sunday with some evenings (two days off per week).
