Job Description

We are looking for client-facing business analysts. Your primary focus will be to work with project stakeholders to document solution requirements, SLAs and NFRs, data flows and system functions (input, processing steps and output), ocument solution configurations and participate as needed in quality assurance activities. Your main duties will include working with the PMO, senior business analysts, clients, and a team of developers within an Agile based delivery model.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and create detailed business and/or technical requirements from a distillation of research on existing and future technical and business processes
  • Work with a team to deliver road maps, current state analyses, technical documents and diagrams
  • Research and/or interview stakeholders/SMEs, and, perform industry research
  • Perform in depth research of existing technical and business processes, and, create full documentation for future reference
  • Research data feeds and fields to develop an understanding of data formats, definitions, value and flows within systems
  • Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Ensure the NFRs solution meets or exceeds proposed specifications
  • Analyze risks and constraints involved in proposed solutions, and obtain stakeholder buy in and signoff
  • Liaise with clients to socialize solution vision and results
  • Document test cases and develop reference/regression data sets
  • Coordinate workflow with designers and coders as needed
  • Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
  • Communicate key insights and findings to product team
  • Track and document the decision-making process
  • Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer

Qualifications:

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical, data and problem-solving skills
  • Exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experienced in capturing and documenting solution requirements using Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Self starter capable of working autonomously and within a team
  • Proficiency with modern test-driven development practices
  • Attention to detail
  • Stellar organizational skills and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an Agile team is desriable
  • A university degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent

Work Related Expectations

The incumbent will ideally be based out of our Gananoque office and must be willing to work flexible hours to accommodate client requirements in a variety of time zones. We service clients across North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific regions and vary our working hours accordingly.
