KEYS Employment & Newcomer Services

Founded in 1983 as a Youth Employment Centre in response to the youth employment crisis, KEYS has developed into a much larger presence within our community.

KEYS is a registered charity. With very few exceptions, our programs have no cost to those we serve.

KEYS helps job seekers of all ages and abilities, looking for a job or exploring career options; entrepreneurs with services designed to make it easier to pursue their business goals; employers by supporting their staffing, training, and retention needs; or newcomers to Canada requiring English training and settlement help. In fact, KEYS is now the largest provider of comprehensive services to Newcomers in the Region.

At KEYS, we strive to help people realize their full potential. We get to regularly help: a student get their very first job; an unemployed person, not only find work but get a career; a university graduate connect with a mentor in their field of study; a retired senior reenter the workforce; an underemployed person get their dream job; a newcomer to Canada acquire language training and skills to succeed in Canada; employers succeed at business; and so much more.
