Certification workshops have an associated fee unless you are registered with KEYS.  If you wish to attend, but are not registered with KEYS services, please call ahead to make an appointment to meet with an Employment Advisor.

In Motion & Momentum+ - Zoom

Monday, September 19th, 2022 (part-time) on Zoom for 10 weeks.

Interactive Workshop through Zoom

In Motion & Momentum+ is a free program delivered through Zoom that helps you begin to move in a way that feels good, tap into your full potential and create the life you want to live. The program has 3 parts:

In Motion:   

  • Focus on who you are – your strength & skills
  • Take charge and create a vision for your future 


  •  Continue to build on your vision for the future & take steps to make it a reality
  •  Contribute in meaningful ways to your community in collaborations with others


  • Continue to build momentum towards achieving your goals
  • Move from planning the life you want to actually living it

The IM&M sessions in Gananoque will be delivered virtually and there are some funds available to purchase equipment and/or supplies.

D-Z Licence and a JOB!

Monday, 8th August to 9th September, 2022 - full days

Experiential training at various training sites

Obtain your D-Z licence and get a job!

This FREE 5-week program will give you employerrecognized training & paid work experience, so you can begin a long-term career as a D-Z driver.

To apply you should be:

  • Currently unemployed or underemployed
  • Available to participate in all of the training and seeking full-time employment upon completion

As a participant, you will:

  • Obtain your D-Z Licence
  • Gain Transportation of Dangerous Goods training
  • Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Learn about Traffic Hazard Control

5-week program starts: August 8th, 2022

Job START Program for youth under 30

Tuesday, 9th August 2022 - 4 weeks paid training

4-weeks Virtual/In-person Training followed by work placement

Next session of JOBSTART begins on 9th August, 2022

JobStart offers relevant certifications employers are looking for in sectors such as culinary arts, food and farm, customer service, retail, construction, and landscaping, a
paid 12 week job placement and 4 weeks of paid training.

Certifications include:
• Service Excellence
• Smart Serve
• Standard First Aid & CPR
• Health and Safety Training
• Educational Supports
We provide you with support to cover the cost of transportation, work equipment and/or uniforms.

Who can participate?

The JobStart Program is for anyone under 30 who is out of school / work and interested in job specific training.
