Equity, Diversity,& Inclusion Solutions
Innovation for Better Integration Project (IBI) Contact UsLearn MoreKEYS is welcoming Service Providers in Kingston to partner with us starting December 2022 until August 2023 to collectively design a more inclusive service provision model that will address some challenges faced by equity deserving groups and newcomers with intersectionality while accessing services in Kingston.
Partnering service sectors could include (but are not limited to):
-
Education
-
Health
-
Mental Health
-
Settlement
-
Employment
The IBI project hopes to co- create with key service providers in Kingston a new design for a service provision model that will support service providers in responding more equitably and in more culturally sensitive fashion to the diverse client population that they serve
Through the project KEYS will:
- lead and facilitate the ideation and collective brainstorming process with service providers in key sectors in Kingston to address challenges and share best practices in offering services to a diverse community of clients
- facilitate and support the collective prototyping of the generated new approaches
- test/pilot the implementation of some new practices generated with selected organization/s
By joining this initiative, organizations will:
- have the opportunity to address common and unique challenges in current service provision practices
- share and access best practices and knowledge with other service providers getting support in EDI matters from equity-deserving groups who have experienced challenges accessing services firsthand
- tap on the many EDI resources that KEYS has developed with experts and underrepresented groups through the workplace Inclusion Charter project

If we think and work together, hearing the voices of those we serve while accessing resources that have been proven to be successful, we can contribute all together to a very positive change in our community and beyond!
