Job Description:

Martha’s Table has a new and exciting opportunity to join our small and dedicated team of staff and volunteers!

Martha’s is part of the social welfare network in the heart of the City of Kingston, ON, providing nutritious meals, seven days a week, to those experiencing food insecurity.

We are currently hiring a Weekend Meal Delivery Coordinator to help prepare, package and deliver meals on Saturdays and Sundays.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills: you will need to effectively connect and liaise with participants.
• Exceptional organizational ability to ensure meals are delivered in a timely manner, and that participant lists are up-to-date and accurate.
• An understanding of the demographic Martha’s serves, and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Safe Food Handling Certification (or a commitment to gain this qualification once hired).
• Cooking experience an advantage, but not necessary.
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols.
• A full G driving license and clean driving record (successful candidate will have use of company vehicle to make deliveries).
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Details of the position:

• Days of work: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• 5 hours per day (15 hours per week)
• $18 per hour
• 12-months’ contract, with possibility of extension
• Start date: as soon as possible
