Job Description:

CPHC Lanark, Leeds & Grenville, a non-profit charitable community support service provider invites applications for brokered foot care nurses (RPN). Footcare nurses are brokered by CPHC, and are not employees of CPHC. There are no guarantee of hours.

IN HOME

The successful foot care nurse (RPN) will provide footcare service to clients in their own homes in the Gananoque, Lansdowne, Mallorytown, Seeleys Bay & Lyndhurst areas.

CLINIC

The successful foot care nurse (RPN) will provide footcare service to clients at monthly clinics located in Gananoque, Lansdowne, Mallorytown, Seeleys Bay & Lyndhurst areas.

CPHC foot care nurses provide assessments, care and advice for clients. Care includes clipping nails, treating corns, calluses, ingrown nails, thickened nails and preventative care.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current registration in good standing with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario required;
• Footcare Certificate required;
• Experience working with the elderly and with cognitively impaired individuals;
• Must be self-motivated, well organized and able to work independently;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ;
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
