  • To establish a rapport with existing and potential customers
  • To help in the showroom with selections
  • To providing exceptional customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the model home
  • Provide customers with applicable brochures based on the needs of the customer
  • Provide basic knowledge and answer questions regarding the model homes
  • Stay up to date on the company website for current information
  • Assist in creating and maintain a frequently asked questions document to ensure unified answers
  • Build rapport with customers, answer questions and provide printed and digital information, based on their needs
  • Notify the sales coordinator of any serious enquiries
  • Inform customers of the sales, production, and warranty process
  • Stay current on the company’s and competitors’ products and pricing
  • Document customers’ interests/concerns to the sales coordinator
  • Answer the phone promptly, take messages and respond to voicemails
  • Register customers and update customer contact information
  • Ensure an adequate supply of marketing materials and office supplies
  • Ensure the model home is tidy and samples are displayed properly and in their correct location

    • comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations and CaraCo’s health and safety policies
    • identify workplace hazards, hazardous or unhealthy conditions, and unsafe acts
    • take every reasonable precaution to protect self and others from health and safety hazards

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma
    • Retail experience, knowledge of home buying process and construction an asset

    Other Requirements

    • Valid drivers license

    • Dress appropriate for professional sales, which may include a uniform at the discretion of the employer
    • Availability to work weekends, as well as weekdays (Approximately 18 hours weekly)
    • Employment is conditional on a clean criminal record check
