As a Financial Planner with SISIP Financial, you are in a unique position to use your expertise to help Canada’s

military community. Your sole goal is to help your clients understand their financial health and help them plan for

the future. This may include providing advice on cash management, investments, taxes and retirement.

Interactions will be one-on-one but may also include presenting to groups. You will have access to a wide range

of financial offerings to meet your clients needs. While you are an advocate for SISIP Financial and an educator

to the military community, you are valued for the quality of your advice and guidance. Working regular hours,

your family with a wide range of benefits.


SISIP Financial operates 22 branches across Canada offering guidance and expertise by certified financial planners to assist CAF members and their families with their short and long-term financial goals. SISIP Financial provides a holistic approach to financial planning, investing, insurance and counselling services to the Canadian military community.


College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or a related field, AND several years of experience in financial services


An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience


Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) designation

License for the sale of mutual funds

License for the sale of life insurance (ON), an asset

Experience in:

  • The provision of financial planning and investment services
  • Building long term relationships with clients
  • Organizing and delivering presentations to large audiences
  • Providing investment advice
  • Preparation of written financial plans
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership (our shared competencies).

  • The successful candidate may be authorized to perform their duties and responsibilities from a location other than the normal workplace for this position
