Job Description:

Dixon Automotive Group Canada Limited is looking for a new Service Manager to join our team at our Smiths Falls location!

The Dixon Automotive Group is a local family owned and operated company consisting of Kia of Brockville, Smiths Falls Kia, Brockville Nissan, 6 Dixon’s Car & Truck Rental locations and 3 CarStar body shops.

Our ideal candidate will possess experience working in the automotive industry either managing fixed operations in a dealership or working at a service desk. We are seeking an applicant who is creative, can adapt to the highs and lows associated with the business, will continuously motivate their team and reinforce positive growth, and is invested in the business and fostering community engagement.

The Service Manager will oversee and direct the work of team members, interact with customers, compile reports, process warranties, and oversee day-to-day transactions.

Position Duties:

Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.

Process and complete accurate warranties.

Awareness of industry developments and best practices to aid in improving services, policies, and procedures.

Willing to learn latest technology and applications.

Take ownership of customer issues and follow through with possible solutions.

Ability to lead and mentor customer service agents in the areas of sales and customer engagement through empowering leadership.

Requirements:

Experience providing high quality customer support.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and multi-task.

Experience working with service software, databases and tools (Ex. Reynolds and Reynolds).

G Drivers Licence

Assets:

3+ years of Service Department experience

This position offers a base salary based on experience as well as commisions.
