Why support us
As a community-based, non-profit, KEYS has offered opportunity and hope to approximately 100,000 jobless youth and adults for more than 40 years.

We received our recognized charitable status in 1991. Since then we have helped thousands of people to move from a life of poverty to a life with a future.
As the Kingston area’s largest employment & newcomer services provider, KEYS changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support under one roof. As leaders in our community, we resettle refugees and educate and advocate for change to help equity-deserving populations (youth, newcomers, people with disabilities and more) to have equal opportunity.
We believe that employment is a key determinant of health and inclusion and every service we deliver is focused on increasing employability and creating opportunity. Our frontline staff are committed, well trained professionals who offer a variety of services ranging from group-based job training, mentorship, English language instruction, individual employment advising, community connections, settlement & navigation support and more to support individual and families as they move towards growth, independence and success through education and job assistance.
We are grateful for the public funding we receive from a variety of government sources; but we also rely on donors who share our mission and vision. Your donations can give us the flexibility to develop and deliver services for our clients as needs emerge.

What your financial commitment means to us
When you become a donor, you help to provide the funding needed to keep our doors open to everyone, who needs us. The commitment from our donors allows us to make our annual financial plans secure in the knowledge that our clients will receive the life-changing programs they rely on.
Stability in uncertain times is a tremendous gift for any charity.
Your donation helps refugee families rebuild their lives, helps job seekers and young people with the immediate help they need and the tools and skills to work towards independence.

We thank you for your support.
