Kingston Access Bus Services

Kingston Access Bus Services, formerly known as "Kingston Bus for the Handicapped" is the oldest specialized transit operation in the province of Ontario.

Our mission is to provide in a safe and courteous manner, a reliable, efficient, specialized transit service for persons whose disabilities impair their use of Kingston Transit.

Kingston Access Bus Services (KABS) is a charitable non-profit organization, under the laws of the Province of Ontario, and is funded by the City of Kingston, passenger revenue, and donations.

Kingston Access Bus Services is NOT operated by the City of Kingston or Kingston Transit.  

Kingston Access Bus Services provides over 80,000 trips annually to the over 4,000 registered passengers who qualify for “specialized transit” within the City of Kingston.
