Description
The Bakery Production Assistant will support daily bakery production, handling products, and supporting baking activities as required.
- Support bakers with daily activities as required
- Finish, decorate, garnish and package baked goods
- Follow presentation standards
- Meet customer specifications
- Assemble, organize, label and verify customer orders for accuracy
- Prepare completed orders for delivery
- Ensure products are properly packaged
- Quality control
- Some experience a plus
Job Requirements
- Reliable, hours of work Monday - Friday (7:30am - 3:30pm)
- Follow food safety guidelines
- Follow instructions, attention to detail and organized a must
- Good with numbers, will be preparing labels, adding barcodes and ensuring all orders are correct for delivery
- Maintain a clean workstation
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Team player, working closely with bakers
- Good time management, ensuring daily orders are ready for the drivers
- Good English skills, able to understand directions
- Location on a bus route
