GEN X Cleaners Inc. is seeking dependable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team. Cleaners work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, providing professional cleaning services in client homes and other assigned locations. We serve seniors and vulnerable people, so professionalism, discretion, safety and respect are essential.

Key Cleaning Duties

• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, offices and common areas as assigned.
• Dust and wipe surfaces; vacuum, sweep and mop floors; clean mirrors, fixtures and other touchpoints.
• Empty waste and recycling and replace liners.
• Use cleaning products, supplies and equipment safely and according to training, labels and workplace procedures.
• Follow client instructions, checklists and GEN X Cleaners quality standards.
• Report hazards, damage, supply needs or client concerns promptly.
• Respect client privacy, property and confidential information at all times.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lb (13.6 kg).
• Able to perform frequent pushing and pulling, including vacuums, mops, cleaning carts and equipment.
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and perform repetitive cleaning movements.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and work at a steady pace in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to safely perform the essential duties of the position, with accommodation where required by applicable law.

Qualifications & Employment Requirements

• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional, respectful approach with clients.
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but is not required. Training will be provided.
• A satisfactory Criminal Record Check that includes a Vulnerable Sector Check is required for successful candidates because services are provided to seniors and vulnerable people.
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle are assets for travel between client locations.

Employment Details

• 2 full-time positions available.
• 2 part-time positions available.
• Casual employees are also being sought.
• Wage: $20.50 per hour for full-time, part-time and casual employees.
• Hours and scheduling may vary according to client and operational needs.
