Fall Forestry Labourer

Stick & Hero Woodland Restoration is seeking self-motivated individuals who are enthusiastic about being rewarded for hard work and enjoy being in outdoor and forested environments. This opportunity with our company is a full-time, temporary seasonal position during the months of October and November. The successful applicants will join a work crew responsible for tree planting, brush sawing, herbicide application and other forestry related work. Work locations will vary across Ontario – approximately 2 hours from Kingston, with accommodation provided.  Compensation is structured using a piece-rate system that rewards self-motivated and skilled workers for their production. • Experience tree planting or with other physically demanding jobs in fast-paced, outdoor environments.
• Proven capability working in varying weather and environmental conditions such as, low and high temperatures, heavy rain, high UV exposure, and bitting insects (black flies and mosquitoes).
• Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 pounds for extended periods of time, over all types of terrain.
• Self-motivated and competitive mindset with the ability to work independently and as a team.
