About Lisata
Lisata is a Kingston-based importer and retailer of premium Japanese matcha, specialty teas and Vietnamese specialty coffee. We sell online at lisata.ca and are opening a downtown Kingston showroom & tasting bar in winter 2026–27 that serves walk-in customers and B2B clients — cafés, restaurants, offices and hotels — with wholesale ingredients, tastings, menu set-up and barista training.
What you will do
Open and close the showroom to our SOP; keep the bar, retail shelves and displays to standard; log temperatures, cleaning and waste
Manage inventory and purchasing for matcha, coffee, tea, milk and packaging; keep stock-outs at zero and waste under 3%
Schedule and coach the team (1–3 people), run the weekly cupping/tasting calibration, and uphold food-safety rules (Ontario O. Reg. 493/17)
Build a B2B pipeline: identify 60+ target accounts, book and deliver tastings, prepare quotes and sample kits, close supply agreements, and manage reorders and invoicing
Set up client menus (matcha, tea, specialty coffee) and deliver basic barista training onsite
Own the showroom P&L with the founder: daily sales report, weekly KPI review (sales, margin, labour, waste), monthly forecast
Handle customer issues, supplier logistics and compliance records (health unit, WSIB,ESA postings)
Pay and terms
$24–$27 per hour based on experience (about $50,000–$56,000 per year at 40 hoursper week)
