Job Requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Successful candidates will have:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (preferred)
- ECE Diploma (preferred)
- Current First Aid, CPR & Epi-Pen certification
- Criminal Reference Check (with vulnerable sector) completed within the last 6 months
- Up-to-date immunizations
- Knowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen?, ELECT and applicable early learning legislation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan and implement engaging, play-based programming
- A positive, professional and flexible approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to attending staff meetings and working collaboratively with the Site Supervisor
